SIGNAL // PRODUCT ENGINEER · FOUNDER

I build software that survives the real world.

Product engineer and founder of SkyAstrall. I've shipped fleet systems tracking 800+ vehicles, agentic data pipelines, and a ~14KB open-source library — and this site renders custom shaders at a green LCP. Poke around. There are secrets.

TRACE // THE JOURNEY

Signal path, 2008 → now.

  1. N012008

    The First Boot

Got my own computer in 1st class. By 3rd class I knew what RAM and HDD meant — GTA required both. Swapped processors, installed OSes, fought drivers. The neighbourhood's go-to tech kid.

    Hardware · Windows · GTA

  2. N022014

Android tablet. Lucky Patcher. Modded OS. The "hacking" rabbit hole began.

  3. N032016

    The Hacking Workshop

9th class. Attended a hacking workshop. Built RATs, pranked friends with ransomware (gave access back, obviously). Got curious about how things break — and how to build them.

    Security · Curiosity · Pranks

  4. N042017

WRO & First Lines of Code

Led the school team for World Robot Olympiad (Lego football — underprepared, unforgettable). Asked faculty to teach Python. Got hooked. Learned C over summer break.

    WRO · Python · C

  5. N052019

    Diploma & First Rupee

Joined VMR Polytechnic, Warangal for Diploma in Computer Science. Built desktop apps with Tkinter, then PyQt5. Selenium automations. First Fiverr order landed in December. The hustle was real.

    Diploma · Freelancing · Fiverr

  6. N062021

    Hardware Meets Software

Contract work: Arduino, STM32, Raspberry Pi. Embedded C by day, Python by night. Built a facial recognition attendance system for the diploma final project. Hardware and software finally clicked together.

    Arduino · STM32 · Facial Recognition

  7. N072022

    Veltech & Web Dev Era

Joined Veltech University, Chennai as lateral entry. Django everywhere. Hackathons every other weekend. The web development era began.

    Veltech · Django · Hackathons

  8. N082023

    Robotic Arm & React Native

Built a 5DOF robotic arm from PVC — camera, suction gripper, auto/manual modes, lifts 800g easy. Built a Flutter app to control it. React Native freelancing took off. Trained juniors. Met Abin at Google DevFest.

    Robotic Arm · 5DOF · Flutter

  9. N092024

    SkyAstrall is Born

Registered SkyAstrall in October. The kid who fixed neighbours' computers now runs a studio. Client base solid, premium craft-only policy enforced.

    SkyAstrall · Studio · Premium

  10. N102025

    Enterprise Scale

Joined Techcora in February. Started with wildlife detection, built facial+NFC attendance for Qatar buses, then led TrackFleet AI to 800+ vehicles. Discovered Rust in April — never looked back. Guarded AI agents with Guardian MCP. Extracted Mentions from a Dataweaver problem.

  11. N11NOW

    Building the Future

Full project lead on Dataweaver — Techcora's flagship agentic system, enterprise clients live. SkyAstrall ships premium landing pages. Obsessed with agentic architectures, systems thinking, and making things that last.

LOOP // HOW WORK GETS DONE

The loop that ships.

gagan@process — /loop

$gr run discover

  • reading the domain, not just the brief
  • constraints mapped: users, data, compliance, deadline
  • success metric agreed — in writing, before code

✓ exit 0 · scope locked

$gr run build

  • boring architecture, chosen on purpose
  • small PRs, trunk stays green, demo every week
  • edge cases handled now, not filed as TODOs

✓ exit 0 · main is shippable

$gr run ship

  • CI gates: tests, lint, perf budgets — all blocking
  • zero-downtime deploy with a tested rollback
  • monitoring wired before launch, not after the incident

✓ exit 0 · live in production

$gr run operate

  • watch the metrics that map to money
  • root-cause fixes only — no silent catches, no retries-as-cures
  • what production teaches feeds the next cycle
